More energy with acupressure

Acupressure is an ancient healing method from TCM and literally means “pressing points”. Acupressure involves pressing or massaging acupuncture points. The points are located on the meridians, which according to TCM are energy pathways and extend over the body. Through acupressure, disturbances of the energy flow are solved.

Acupressure helps, for example, with mild headaches, chronic neck and shoulder pain, chronic back pain, against inner restlessness, with menstrual pain, with the reduction of pain after operations or with constipation.

The purpose and goal of acupressure massage is to dissolve existing congestions of the life energy flowing in the meridians, which have arisen due to stress, weakness, intemperate lifestyle ö. ä. The practitioner presses or massages with circular movements around the pain and acupoints or along the meridians, e.g. with the fingertips, sometimes also with the fingernail; sometimes medicinal plant oils are also rubbed into the pressure points. Each point is usually treated for between two and five seconds. One treatment lasts about 30 minutes.
